| Passenger Arrested For Possession Of Methamphetamine
Jamestown, CA-- One Tuolumne resident is sure to be more careful with obeying traffic laws as well as choosing who sits in the passenger seat. On Wednesday at about noon, Tuolumne County Sheriff's Deputy Brandon Lowry pulled over a white 1996 Honda Civic in the area of 9th and 3rd Street in Jamestown for running a stop sign. The vehicle was being driven by Naomi Jones. Before the Honda Civic pulled over, Deputy Lowry noticed the passenger of the vehicle, later identified as 23-year-old Joshua Willis, reached under his seat as soon as he saw the deputy behind him. Reports indicate that after having the occupants exit the car, Lowry looked under the seat where he found a methamphetamine smoking pipe containing a useable amount of methamphetamine. Willis was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and a methamphetamine smoking pipe and Jones was released with a warning.
South Yorkshire Police - Appeal for Information - Traffic
Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision on the M18 in South Yorkshire on Friday 2 February 2007. It is reported that a 60 year old man from Scarborough died after the silver Honda Civic he was driving collided with the central reservation. After striking the reservation barrier the car crossed the motorway and collided with the barrier adjacent to the hard shoulder before it veered back across the carriage way and collided with the central reservation for a second time where it came to rest. The driver was unconscious and conveyed to Doncaster Royal Infirmary where he was pronounced deceased. The collision happened at about 1929hrs on the northbound carriageway of the M18 between junctions 2 and 3. Following the collision M18 northbound was closed until around 2230 hrs as officers from the Roads Policing Group assisted by their colleagues from the Highways agency recovered the vehicle and investigated the cause of the collision.

Dover hosts year's first meet on Easter Monday
The Jamaica Race Driver's Club will be staging its first race meet for 2007 on Easter Monday, April 8, and the following day at Dover Raceway.
This event will represent the first leg of the "Caribbean Drivers Championship" and will feature drivers from Trinidad & Tobago, Guyana and Barbados. So far Guyana has confirmed four cars and Trinidad two. Barbados yet to confirm.
The Guyanese drivers are current Caribbean champion Andrew King, who will be accompanied by Mark Vieira (now at the top of the standings in Guyana), and the Morgan brothers, Andrew and Peter, all piloting RX7 Mazdas. The T&T team of two drivers are Gerard Carrington, who will be partnering (a factory look) Mitsubishi Mivic, and Chris Bourne in his turbo charged Honda Civic.
These two gave a good account of themselves at the 2006 Caribbean Championship Series in Guyana, where Carrington won one of the three races, beating King to the line.
