| Authorities search for missing Chico State student
CHICO, Calif. A Chico State student has disappeared, and police have not been able to locate her. Nineteen-year-old Veronica Guzman was last seen by a professor leaving her 4 p.m. class Monday. Police are now investiging her disappearance. Police believe the sophomore left campus in her car _ a green 1999 Honda CRV without license plates. Police said Guzman has not used her cell phone or ATM card _ leaving both city and university police without any clues to her whereabouts. Guzman's family has posted a $15,000 reward for information. She is 5-foot-4, about 140 pounds and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black "Chico State University" sweat shirt. Her car's rear window has a rectangular, turquoise and white Chico State parking sticker. The permit number is G3899.

BRENTWOOD BAY, B.C. -- Mazda demonstrated that it can build an SUV with plenty of style -- plus performance -- when it introduced its sleek CX-7 crossover last summer. Its steeply raked windshield and flowing side silhouette stood out in a market crowded with boxy shapes. Now, the company is applying those same distinctive design cues to a new, larger model -- the 2007 CX-9. It's an intermediate-sized crossover that features seven-passenger seating, luxurious amenities and Mazda's trademark fun-to-drive factor. It's the new flagship model for the Japan-based member of Ford's global family, with a 2,875-millimetre wheelbase -- one of the longest in the intermediate crossover segment. But it's not simply a stretched version of the CX-7. Only the front MacPherson strut suspension (borrowed from the Mazda6 sedan) and the Aisin six-speed automatic transmission, with sport-mode shifting capability are shared with the CX-7.
One-stop motor park
MULTI-FRANCHISE dealership Alan Gibson Ltd has opened its completely refurbished facility at Old Basing, creating a "one-stop motor park" with four franchises all under one roof. One of the main reasons for the refit was the creation of a dedicated showroom for the company's new Suzuki franchise - the first time the Japanese manufacturer has been represented in the area. Honda Racing F1 Team - Bahrain Test Report
The Honda Racing F1 Team today completed the first of two final pre-season tests which are being held at the Bahrain International Circuit.Testing outside of Europe for the first time this year, race drivers Jenson Button and Rubens Barrichello took part in all three days of running, maximising their track time in the new RA107 car before the Formula One season begins with the Australian Grand Prix on 18 March. Jenson gave the latest new chassis its first outing on Thursday. After initial set-up work, he ran through an aero programme alongside new tyre runs, covering 84 laps. Rubens concentrated on finding a good set-up before completing long tyre runs over a race distance for a total of 102 laps.Jenson spent the second day of the test working through an aero evaluation, followed by a race simulation, completing 117 laps.
