| Men in burning vehicle ID'd as Mexican immigrants
Authorities released the name of a Mexican immigrant who was found dead inside a burning sport utility vehicle off I-80 in Tooele County.
Meanwhile, another man who suffered burns on 54 percent of his body remained in a coma Saturday at a Salt Lake hospital.
Oscar Botello, 29, also known as Arturo Leyva, was the victim of murder, Sheriff Frank Park said.
His body was found in the back seat of a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder on Feb. 18. Julio Caesar Garcia Rodriguez, 24, was found badly burned about 50 feet away.
"I haven't seen anything this brutal," said detective Sgt. Travis Scharmann, who is hunting for suspects.
The SUV was burning in the desert near the Delle exit, about 50 miles west of Salt Lake City.
2007 Chicago Auto Show: 2008 Nissan Pathfinder

Car flips, Cragsmoor teenage driver half-ejected
Accord - A Cragsmoor teen was injured seriously yesterday morning when his car flipped into a telephone pole on Route 209.
Jordan Batrus, 19, was trying to pass another car at about 8:20 a.m. on a straight portion of Route 209 between Boice Mill Road and Queens Highway. Batrus lost control of his Nissan Pathfinder and struck the car he was trying to pass, flipping three times and hitting a utility pole.
Batrus was partially ejected from his car. He was extricated from the vehicle by the Accord Fire Department and flown to Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla with numerous internal and external injuries.
Further information on his condition was not available. The operator of the other car was uninjured.
The road was closed for about an hour.
Tooele car fire ruled homicide
Tooele County sheriff's deputies say a fire that led to the discovery of a body in a burning car's back seat was a homicide.
Two men were apparently meant to die in the fire, but the second man survived. He was found crawling in the desert on Sunday with burns on 54 percent of his body.
"He's still in critical but stable condition," Tooele County Sheriff's Lt. Duke North said Thursday.
The Tooele County Sheriff's Office was keeping tight-lipped about the investigation, releasing only a few details.
On Sunday morning, a driver on I-80 noticed a car on fire north of the freeway near the Delle exit. That driver called 911 and police responded, finding a 1993 Nissan Pathfinder engulfed in flames.

The sheriff's office has not disclosed the name of the 29-year-old dead man found inside the burning 1993 Nissan Pathfinder.
Tooele County Sheriff Frank Park said the man was from Mexico and the Mexican consulate is trying to notify his family of the death.
A 24-year-old man survived with burns on 54 percent of his body, according to the Tooele County Sheriff's Office, and is in stable condition at a hospital.
"We don't have much," sheriff's Lt. Duke North said Thursday. "Everything and anything we're following up on."
Early Sunday, a motorist on Interstate 80 near the Delle exit reported a burning car. When a sheriff's deputy arrived, he found the car on fire and the dead man inside.
The sheriff's office initially called the fire suspicious, then on Thursday confirmed the case is considered a homicide.
